Services: supply, installation and service
Navigation and communication equipment for yachts, fishing and commercial vessels: advice before you buy, installation and commissioning, troubleshooting and repair.

Sales and advice
Before you buy, we go through what you need together. We look at the type and length of the vessel, your cruising area and the equipment already on board. On that basis, we recommend equipment and accessories that suit your vessel and work with what you already have. If an old unit is no longer worth repairing, we suggest a replacement. On request, we prepare a quotation with the price, availability and delivery time for your particular case – call us or send an enquiry using the contact form.

Installation and commissioning
We install navigation and communication equipment: satellite and VHF antennas, radar, chartplotters, echo sounders, AIS transponders and radios. Before the installation, we agree with you where the equipment and antennas will go and how the cables will be routed. If the new unit is to be connected to existing equipment, we first check the condition of the antennas and cables. After installation, we connect the equipment to the power supply and antennas, set it up and test it. Finally, we show you how to operate it. The installation date is arranged around the schedule of other work on the vessel.

Service and troubleshooting
When a unit is not working properly, we start by finding the cause of the fault. We check the power supply, cables, connectors and antennas, and then the unit itself. Before any repair, we agree the scope of work with you. We repair or replace faulty parts and test the unit again after the repair. For equipment that is no longer manufactured, we check whether spare parts are still available. The place and date of the service are arranged when you get in touch. What to send with your enquiry is listed under How to book a service.

Radio, AIS and GMDSS
We supply, install and service marine VHF/DSC radios and Class A and Class B AIS transponders. We supply and install GMDSS equipment, such as NAVTEX receivers, EPIRBs and SARTs, on request. An AIS transponder sends your vessel’s position, course and speed to other vessels and shore stations and receives the same data from them. AIS and DSC equipment needs your vessel’s MMSI number, so please include it in your enquiry. Vessels that transmit AIS data can also be seen on public AIS maps, such as MarineTraffic and VesselFinder. We do not operate these maps. For equipment by manufacturer, see the Equipment page.
Satellite TV and internet on board
A satellite antenna on a vessel finds the satellite by itself and keeps tracking it while the vessel is moving. We supply, install and service TVRO satellite TV antennas and VSAT antennas for satellite communication. When choosing an antenna, we consider the size of the vessel, your cruising area and the satellites you want to receive. A larger antenna receives the signal better at the edge of the coverage area, but it is heavier and takes up more space.
Internet on board
On board, internet access comes either via satellite, for example with an Inmarsat FleetBroadband terminal, or via the mobile network, using a router with an external antenna. We help you choose the right solution for your cruising area, then install and set up the equipment.
