Equipment we supply and service
Satellite TV and VSAT antennas, radar, chartplotters and echo sounders, AIS, VHF/DSC and GMDSS radios, marine antennas and equipment for internet on board by Intellian, Samyung ENC, em-trak, SCAN and Icom. We confirm the model, price and availability when you get in touch.

Satellite antennas
Satellite antennas are used for receiving satellite TV and for satellite communication. The antenna sits under a protective radome and tracks the satellite automatically while the vessel is moving.
Service and installation of equipment by Intellian:
- TVRO satellite TV antennas: i-Series, s-Series and t-Series
- VSAT antennas: NX and E Series, and 2.4 m antennas
- Inmarsat FleetBroadband (FB250, FB500) and Fleet One terminals
- empty radomes (without an antenna)

Radar, chartplotters and echo sounders
Radar shows other vessels, the coastline and obstacles, even in poor visibility. A chartplotter shows the vessel’s position on an electronic chart, and an echo sounder (fishfinder) shows the depth and the seabed below the vessel. A chartplotter and an echo sounder can be combined in a single unit.
Service and installation of equipment by Samyung ENC:
- radar with a radome or an open-array antenna
- chartplotters and combined chartplotter/sounders (multifunction displays)
- echo sounders
Service and installation of equipment by Techmarine and Seiwa: chartplotters and multifunction units.

AIS
AIS (Automatic Identification System) lets vessels exchange position, course and speed data with each other and with shore stations. Class A transponders are intended for vessels that are required to carry AIS, and Class B transponders for all other vessels.
Service and installation of equipment by em-trak:
- Class A AIS transponders
- Class B AIS transponders
- special-purpose AIS devices
Service and installation of AIS equipment by Samyung ENC.

VHF/DSC and GMDSS
A marine VHF radio with DSC is used for talking to other vessels and shore stations, and for sending a digital distress alert. GMDSS equipment covers devices for distress alerting and locating, and for receiving maritime safety information.
Service and installation of equipment by Icom:
- fixed marine VHF/DSC radios
- handheld marine VHF/DSC radios
- black-box systems
Service and installation of equipment by Samyung ENC:
- VHF/DSC radios
- bridge navigational watch alarm systems (BNWAS)
GMDSS equipment by Samyung ENC (on request):
- handheld GMDSS VHF radios
- NAVTEX receivers
- EPIRBs and SARTs
Service and installation of equipment by Entel: handheld radios and marine radio equipment.

Marine antennas
The antenna and its cable determine the range of a radio and the reception of AIS signals. A damaged or poorly positioned antenna is a common cause of poor range and reception.
Service and installation of equipment by SCAN:
- VHF antennas
- AIS antennas
- UHF antennas
- mobile internet antennas

Internet on board
On board, internet access comes via the mobile network or via satellite. The mobile network works near the coast, while a satellite connection also works on the open sea.
- satellite internet: Intellian FleetBroadband and VSAT, see Satellite antennas
- mobile internet antennas by SCAN
- service and installation of Teltonika routers with external antennas
