2. Visiting this website
When this website loads, we use no cookies or tracking or advertising tools, and load no content from third-party servers. Contact form data is sent to an external provider only when you submit the form, as described below. Our hosting provider SETCOR d.o.o. (MyDataKnox), Čabdin 73, 10450 Jastrebarsko, Croatia automatically keeps technical server logs of each visit: IP address, date and time, requested page, referring page, and browser and device type. The purpose is the security and proper operation of the website and the detection and investigation of misuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Archived access logs in our hosting account have a configured retention period of 30 days. Logs needed to investigate a security incident may be retained separately until the investigation is complete.
If you select a display theme, your browser stores only that choice locally under the key navtronic-theme so it applies across pages and future visits. This setting is not sent to our server or third parties and is not used for tracking. You can change it with the theme selector or remove it by clearing this website’s data in your browser.
3. Contacting us by form, post or phone
The contact form collects your name, reply e-mail address and message. Only when you press the submit button does your browser send them via HTTPS to Web3Forms so that your enquiry can reach us. Opening the form alone does not send these details to Web3Forms.
When you write to or call us, we process the data you provide (name, contact details, the content of your enquiry, details of your vessel and equipment) to answer you, prepare quotations and perform contracts, including delivery, installation and service. Legal bases: steps taken before entering into a contract and the performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and legal obligations such as accounting and tax requirements (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR). Enquiries without follow-up are deleted after 24 months at the latest. Contract and accounting records are kept for the periods required by tax and accounting law. Providing data is not a statutory requirement. Without contact details we cannot reply to your enquiry or prepare a quotation, and the data needed to issue an invoice is required by tax law. We do not use automated decision-making or profiling.
4. Recipients
Our hosting and e-mail provider (processor), our accountant and, where needed for delivery or warranty service, the equipment manufacturer or a service centre designated by the manufacturer. We do not sell data or use it for advertising. According to the provider, its hosting data centre is located in Jastrebarsko, Croatia.
We use Web3Forms (Web3Creative) to deliver form enquiries. Its policy describes it as a data processor. The provider operates from India and data may be processed in multiple regions. The provider states a separate retention period of up to three years for form data, and may pass submitters’ IP and e-mail addresses to spam prevention services. See the Web3Forms privacy policy for details.
5. Links to other websites
This website contains ordinary links to Google Maps and to manufacturers’ websites. Data is transmitted to these providers only when you click such a link, and their privacy policies then apply.
6. Your rights
You have the right of access, the right to rectification, the right to erasure, the right to restriction of processing, the right to object to processing based on our legitimate interest and, where applicable, the right to data portability. Send requests by post to Čiovska 19, 21000 Split, Croatia; we reply within one month. You may lodge a complaint with the Agencija za zaštitu osobnih podataka (AZOP, the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency), Ulica Metela Ožegovića 16, 10000 Zagreb, azop.hr.
